Highlights for the month included:
- 395 thousand Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs), 6% higher than prior year and 10% lower than prior month.
- Ending customer equity of $32.9 billion, 31% higher than prior year and 2% higher than prior month.
- Ending customer margin loan balances of $9.8 billion, 40% higher than prior year and 2% higher than prior month.
- Ending customer credit balances of $20.5 billion, 23% higher than prior year and flat to prior month.
- 210 thousand customer accounts (1), 11% higher than prior year and flat to prior month.
- 431 annualized average cleared DARTs per customer account.
(1) In December, the company made a decision to count multiple accounts held by the same customer with our affiliates as one customer account. This change aggregated 1.5 thousand customer accounts, making December increase lower.
