Whitestone REIT (NYSE: WSR – “Whitestone”), a fully integrated real estate company that owns, operates and re-develops Community Centered PropertiesTM, which are visibly located properties in established or developing culturally diverse neighborhoods, provided a recap of the five Community Centered PropertyTM acquisitions the Company completed during 2012. The acquisitions, totaling approximately $108 million, were funded from proceeds raised from sale of common shares, draws on the Company’s unsecured revolving credit facility, assumption of debt, and cash on hand.
