Mr. Battaglia began his aviation career nearly 30 years ago and has held a variety of leadership roles primarily in the airport and operations areas. His extensive background in customer service led to a natural progression in roles of increased responsibility and importance. Alex is a lifelong New York Mets fan and recently attended his 34 th Mets home opener. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in North Jersey. His educational background includes studies at the University of Hawaii and William Patterson University where he majored in Business Management. He and his wife Melissa currently reside in Long Island, New York.
