Propane Studio Gives The Gift Of Heat This Holiday Season
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Propane Studio announced today the launch of a social seasonal campaign, "Heat for the Holidays" (H4H), created to raise awareness and drive donations for much-needed heating assistance across the U.S. this winter.
In lieu of paper greeting cards and empty sentiments, the San Francisco and Brooklyn-based digital agency has focused their energies on those less fortunate this season. With that goal in mind, Propane partnered with the National Fuel Funds Network (NFFN), a non-profit group dedicated to organizing programs for heating assistance for those who cannot afford it through the cold weather months.
Continuing today through March 1, 2013, the Propane-designed and developed site ( http://Heat4Holidays.com), in concert with a multi-channel social campaign spanning Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr, will promote awareness and drive traffic to the NFFN. Following their donation, users are encouraged to help "spread the warmth and word" by tweeting their followers and friends using the Twitter hashtag "#TweetforHeat".All tax-deductible donations made directly to the NFFN, regardless of amount, will help an individual or family stay warm this winter. To light the pilot on the H4H program, the agency made a foundational donation of $1,000.
