ScanSource Announces President For European Operations

ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), the leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has named Glen “Buck” Baker as President of ScanSource Europe on an interim basis. Mr. Baker will be responsible for strategic direction and leadership of the Company’s European operations, including its POS & Barcoding and Communications business units. Mr. Baker will be based in Brussels, Belgium.

In Europe, Buck Baker replaces Xavier Cartiaux, who had responsibility for ScanSource’s international operations and recently left the Company. Mr. Baker will report to Scott Benbenek, President of Worldwide Operations, ScanSource, Inc.

Buck Baker joined ScanSource in 1995 and has over 23 years of experience in technology distribution. Mr. Baker has served as President of ScanSource Communications North America since 2008. He previously led the merchandising teams for both Catalyst Telecom and ScanSource POS & Barcoding North America as Vice President of Merchandising.
