Huntington Names Belinda Sherman President Of The Huntington Investment Company

Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN; www.huntington.com) has announced that Belinda Sherman has been promoted to president of The Huntington Investment Company. She will report to Steven Short, director of Huntington Wealth Advisors.

The Huntington Investment Company is the broker subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, providing a variety of non-FDIC insured investment products and services to customers. In her new role as president, Sherman will lead Huntington’s broker dealer sales initiatives and help guide the Bank’s 175 advisors.

“Belinda’s unique set of leadership skills and strong business acumen have been invaluable to Huntington,” said Short. “She has managed an exceptional salesforce and driven considerable revenue for the bank. Her in-depth asset management knowledge and sales expertise will help continue driving revenue, while building even stronger business relationships for The Huntington Investment Company.”

Sherman has worked for Huntington since 2005 as a regional and national sales manager for The Huntington Investment Company.

Sherman holds a bachelor’s degree in applied and general studies, business from the University of Cincinnati and holds certifications in personal trust, advanced estate planning, and certified financial planning.
