Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Implements NCR Vitalcast™ Digital Menuboard Solution

NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced that Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has implemented an NCR Vitalcast digital menuboard solution, including more than 50 LCD displays and professional design services. The Memorial Coliseum will use the new digital signage system to provide advertising and up-to-the-minute menu information to the more than one million visitors who attend its sports and entertainment events each year. Named one of Venues Today magazine’s “Social Media Power 100” in 2012, the Memorial Coliseum is an established national leader in using digital marketing to engage and delight fans.

The Memorial Coliseum selected the NCR solution because of its ability to update menu signage cost-effectively and quickly. With their eye-catching graphics and compelling marketing messages, the digital menuboards increase customer spending while providing the venue with a tool to drive advertising revenue.

The new NCR Vitalcast digital menuboard solution integrates seamlessly with the coliseum’s NCR Venue Manager solution, enabling staff to instantly roll out new menu items and prices on signs throughout the arena. In addition, the platform’s automatic dayparting capabilities change menus multiple times each day, providing customers with real-time concession information.
