With a stylish spin on the much-loved tradition, Aloft Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.’s (NYSE: HOT) new style at a steal brand, is counting down the holiday season by offering Twitter fans the chance to win one exciting prize a day by finding and tweeting a secret daily hashtag.
Here’s how the Aloft “31 to 13” sweepstakes works:
This month, fans can check out Aloft’s festive virtual calendar at
alofthotels.com/31to13. Selecting the current date will open the calendar window to reveal a secret hashtag and unlock the special prize of the day. The 31 prizes given away throughout the month of December include the latest tech gadgets, VIP access to Live at Aloft Hotels performances, getaways to Aloft hotels and more!
For a chance to win that day’s prize, @AloftHotels followers must simply tweet the secret hashtag along with the promo hashtag
#Aloft31to13 tagging Aloft’s handle. Fans can win a prize a day through December 31.
Winners will be announced on the official Aloft Twitter feed, along with clues and links to that day’s hashtag.
Aloft has been conquering the globe with style since launching in 2005. Industry-rocking initiatives in music, design, and technology have made Aloft the must-have brand for the next generation of travelers. The sizzling “style at a steal” brand blends modern and vibrant design with a social guest experience. Select Aloft hotels within the portfolio have earned designations in TripAdvisor's 2012 "Top 25 Trendiest Hotels in the World" rankings.
“Aloft fans continue to make the brand a hit, and this holiday sweepstakes is one way to thank them,” said Brian McGuinness, Starwood’s Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands. “Travelers also tell us how much they love staying in touch with Aloft through social media, so we are pleased to connect with them here while spreading some holiday cheer Aloft-style.”
