Ballast Nedam has strengthened the compliance organization with the appointment of
as Chief Compliance & Risk Officer (CCRO). With effect from
1 January 2013
she will implement Ballast Nedam's tightened compliance and risk policy in order to guarantee the organization's integrity.
The CCRO will oversee the compliance policy for Ballast Nedam as a whole, focusing among other things on the implementation of the tightened compliance guidelines within a new management system. The CCRO will also oversee the monitoring of observance of the compliance guidelines. Ballast Nedam operates a zero tolerance compliance policy. Furthermore one member of the Supervisory Board will be appointed with special authority in respect of the compliance policy. The CCRO will also report to the Supervisory Board.
