ITG Wins Two American Financial Technology Awards

NEW YORK, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ITG (NYSE: ITG), a leading execution and research broker, today announced that it is the winner of two prestigious American Financial Technology Awards (AFTA).  ITG was short-listed in 5 of the 10 overall categories and won the awards for "Best Global Deployment" and "Most Cutting Edge IT Initiative."  The winners were selected from among a number of leading sell-side firms by a panel of senior industry practitioners and editors from Waters magazine.

The award for Best Global Deployment recognized the rollout of ITG's new ultra-low-latency service-oriented architecture.  ITG has developed an innovative enterprise architecture which brings together all routing, connectivity and market data across ITG to enable all products to interface together.  This new architecture improved performance for ITG's clients and also resulted in improved internal efficiencies.   

The award for Most Cutting Edge IT Initiative went to ITG's proprietary cache system for data capture and complex event processing.  ITG's cache service provides continuous capture all of ITG's U.S. trade flow data on a single server as well as interfaces for easy content filtering and retrieval.
