Barry has covered stories related to local, scholastic, collegiate and professional sports, and has received numerous honors throughout his accomplished career; including the prestigious Keystone Press Award, which he has received numerous times for his work that has appeared in The Mercury, The Times Herald in Norristown, the Delaware County Times, Daily Local News in West Chester, and the Reporter in Lansdale.
Writing has always been a driving force in Barry's life from an early age, winning story-writing contests and garnering praise at his elementary school in Limerick, Pennsylvania.
