Concentrix Creates Global Software Development Center To Enhance Proprietary Technology Platforms

Concentrix Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a global business services company, announces the creation of a global software development center in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Concentrix is initially targeting the creation of 100 high-quality software development jobs with hiring already started. The global development center focuses on enhancing the functionality and benefits of Concentrix’ proprietary technology platforms, including RenewalsManager, an automated solution to manage the renewals business.

Invest Northern Ireland, a local economic development organization that supports businesses that make great contributions to growing Northern Ireland’s economy, has given Concentrix support to bring these jobs to Belfast. The new dedicated team of software developers joins Concentrix’ existing team of several hundred professionals in Belfast, who manage Concentrix’ customers’ social media, customer service, technical support and outbound marketing initiatives.

“Our European operations service a fast growing, dynamic market; so when looking for potential locations for our expansion, Northern Ireland was immediately one of our main options. The support provided by Invest Northern Ireland, the strength of the ICT sector and the resources available to Concentrix made our decision an easy one,” said Christopher Caldwell, President of Concentrix Corporation. “We have already commenced recruitment at a range of levels from graduate to highly experienced software professionals and hope to have the first 20 developers in place by January 2013.”
