Vickie Schray Joins Bridgepoint Education's Executive Team

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI), a provider of postsecondary education services, has announced two changes to its executive team. Vickie Schray has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of regulatory affairs and public policy and Dr. Jane McAuliffe has moved into the role of executive vice president of external affairs/chief academic officer. Both changes went into effect on December 3, 2012.

Schray's experience includes time working with the U.S. Department of Education, where she served the Senior Policy Analyst in the Office of the Under Secretary of Education and the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Postsecondary Education.  Prior to her promotion, Schray held the position of vice president of regulatory affairs for Bridgepoint Education. In her new role, Schray will report to Dr. McAuliffe, who will oversee Bridgepoint Education's external affairs department, which includes federal, state and local government affairs, regulatory affairs and public policy.
