Big Data And Infonomics To Be Discussed At The Executives' Club Program

CHICAGO, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 12, the Technology Committee of The Executives' Club will host a program on Infonomics and Big Data: How much is your data worth and how do you manage it? , at 1871 in  Chicago's Merchandise Mart.  Speakers include Doug Laney, Vice President, Analytics and Information Management, Gartner; John Lewis, President and CEO, Consumer Group, North America, Nielsen; and Michael Connor, Vice President - Enterprise Data Architecture, QBE North America.

The panel will discuss innovative ways to gather, manage, and leverage data; how data is valued, and why this matters.

According to The Economist, the information management industry is estimated to be worth more than $100 billion and growing at almost 10% a year, roughly twice as fast as the software business as a whole.
