The Hartford today announced that it has completed the sale of Woodbury Financial Services to American International Group, Inc. The transaction is not expected to have a material impact on The Hartford’s financial results.

Woodbury Financial Services is a top 15 independent broker-dealer with approximately 1,400 registered representatives. The firm is based in Oakdale, Minnesota.
