Huron Consulting Group’s Click Software Named A University Business Magazine 2012 Readers’ Choice Top Product

Stocks in this article: HURN

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that the Company’s Click® Portal software has been selected as a University Business 2012 Readers’ Choice Top Product. The Click software streamlines and improves research business processes, including those associated with grants administration, regulatory compliance, and clinical trials.

“We are thrilled to receive this important award,” said Peter Eschenbach, managing director and Technology solutions leader, Huron Education. “For more than a decade, Click software has been helping clients manage and improve the business of research. The ‘Top Product’ recognition from University Business and the education community at large indicates that we are helping our clients apply technology solutions to address complicated research administration processes.”

The first annual University Business Readers’ Choice Top Products award recognizes products that have made a positive impact at colleges and universities this year. The products were selected by the editors of University Business from nominations submitted by the readership of the magazine, and were based on both the quantity of nominations and the quality of reader nominations. The complete list of products is available online and in the December issue of University Business magazine.

“This acknowledgment is a tribute both to our people, who have helped us build a culture founded on results, and to our clients, who continually challenge us to raise the bar in product development and delivery,” said Nick Stier, managing director, Huron Education. “Working with great clients who are focused on research helps us remember that the ultimate goal is helping them speed delivery of results that benefit society.”

Leading research institutions use Huron’s Click Portal platform to improve a wide range of administrative and compliance processes, including those associated with Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Conflict of Interest, Grants, and Clinical Trials.
