Invesco Canada Recognized For Strong Performance;

Trimark co-founder receives Career Achievement Award

TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - Invesco Canada took top honours in two categories at the 18 ^th annual Morningstar Canadian Investment Awards and Gala held last night in Toronto. These awards are designed to help identify fund managers that have added the greatest value for investors. The winning funds were:

• Trimark U.S. Companies Fund - Best U.S. Equity Fund
• Trimark U.S. Small Companies Class - Best U.S. Small/Mid Cap Equity Fund

In the past 10 years, Trimark's small cap team currently comprised of Rob Mikalachki, Jason Whiting and Virginia Au, has garnered 11 separate awards, including 6 Canadian Investment Awards ¹ and 5 Lipper Canada Awards ², recognizing the team's outstanding performance.

Arthur Labatt honoured Invesco Canada congratulates Trimark co-founder Arthur Labatt, who was presented with the Career Achievement Award at last night's gala. Trimark was founded in 1981, a time when equity investors faced formidable headwinds; the economy was in recession and interest rates were nearly 20%.

Despite these challenges, Labatt and his fellow co-founders built the company into one of Canada's premier asset managers, thanks to an investment discipline that buys only top-quality companies, trading at a discount.

The Trimark discipline remains in place today as part of Invesco Canada.
