TNT Express Soars With QlikView To Improve Efficiency Of Marketing And Sales Monitoring

QlikTech (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in Business Discovery – user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that TNT Express, a world-leading provider of express delivery services, is using the QlikView Business Discovery platform to improve its Marketing and Sales monitoring and simplify its business through analyzing company and marketing data. This rapid, self-service access to information has led to improved services and up-to-date information, saving TNT Express 2,000 hours per year.

TNT Express, which provides a wide range of express services to businesses and consumers around the world, achieved a turnover of 7.246 billion euros in 2011. As a leader on the European market, TNT Express employs 4,800 employees in France and has 120 operational sites throughout to offer its 52,000 customers a complete range of transportation services. It handles 370,000 parcels per day and delivers in more than 200 countries.

The company required a solution that would remove complex, numerous Excel files and allow them to anticipate new demands and market changes in real-time. This would also enable them to identify new offers and services that could improve the customer care and responsiveness, thereby increasing business results.

In collaboration with Keyrus, a QlikView partner, TNT Express France has succeeded in reconciling billing data from various systems, each corresponding to the three lines of business (deliveries in France, international deliveries, and Special Services). With users performing interactive analysis themselves, QlikView has minimized the time it takes in obtaining business critical information. Today, the marketing department and regional sales managers are collaborating and performing interactive analysis to make better decisions in a more timely way.
