(FB - Get Report) was a big gainer in premarket trading on Tuesday, rising 2.47% to $26.58 as the social networker's recent momentum continued.
Shares of the Menlo Park, Calif.-based firm closed up 8.09% on Monday, hitting a four-month high after Bernstein Research
upgraded the company to outperform.
Facebook was also one of the most active premarket Nasdaq stocks on share volume of 1,080,228.
(EBAY - Get Report) shares rose 0.29% to $51.55 on share volume of 132,968. The online retailer's stock closed up almost 5% on Monday, boosted by robust
Cyber Monday spending.

shares gained 0.49% to $592.40 before market open on share volume of 131,909.
Research In Motion
shares, however, dipped 0.5% to $11.92 on share volume of 81,120, despite gaining 2.74% during Monday's trading.
