Dow Today: Boeing (BA) Leads The Day Higher, McDonald's Corporation (MCD) Lags

Holding the Dow back today was McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD), which lagged the broader Dow index with an 85-cent decline (-1%) bringing the stock to $86.20. This single loss is lowering the Dow Jones Industrial Average by 6.43 points or roughly accounting for 15.3% of the Dow's overall loss. Volume for McDonald's Corporation ended the day at five million shares traded vs. an average daily trading volume of six million shares.
