Office Depot (NYSE:ODP) today announced results from the Office Depot Holiday Survey that revealed nationwide shoppers’ perspectives on the hottest products and top trends for the upcoming season. Among the most notable survey findings, results showed that a majority of shoppers (58%) prefer to have the gift of time or money, even over more family (24%) and friends (5%), this holiday season. The Hottest Technology of the Season

The Office Depot Holiday Survey results revealed that smartphones (44%), tablets (36%) and eReaders (32%) top the charts for leading gift choices. Beyond insights on top technology gifts, survey results also uncovered that nearly 94 million Americans plan to spice up their holiday lists with customized products. Catering specifically to the busy shopper, the convenient shipping services are also available during weekends and late evenings, at times when customers are most likely to tackle their holiday shopping.
