US Synthetic And Its Employees Donate Money And Time To Local Non-Profit Organizations

OREM, Utah, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- US Synthetic, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and a leading provider of polycrystalline diamond cutters (PDCs) for the energy industry, today announced that the company and its employees donated $20,000 to the Utah Food Bank and provided more than 1,500 hours of service to the United Way Day of Caring. Individual US Synthetic employees raised more than $10,000. US Synthetic then added to those efforts to increase the total donation to $20,000.

More than 800 employees participated in the company-sponsored month of service. During the month, employees held fundraising events, contests, bake sales, etc., to encourage fundraising prior to the holiday season. Employees also participated in numerous service projects including landscaping, painting, repairing and home cleaning for non-profit organizations throughout Utah County.

Ginette Bott, Chief Marketing Officer at the Utah Food Bank, said, "Utah Food Bank is so excited at this year's US Synthetic success. Previous years have provided much needed food, but this year's overwhelming contribution of cash will provide over 65,000 meals."
