Berry Plastics was initiated with an outperform rating at Credit Suisse. $20 price target. Company offers growth at an attractive price, Credit Suisse said. C&J Energy (CJES) was downgraded at JP Morgan to neutral. Expect E&P customers to defer activity and orders into 2013, JP Morgan said. 3D Systems (DDD) was upgraded at Piper Jaffray from neutral to overweight. $55 price target. 3D printing market should continue to experience strong secular growth, Piper Jaffray said. Dow Chemical (DOW) was upgraded at Goldman Sachs to buy. Stock has a solid dividend, and earnings expectations are low, Goldman said. EMC (EMC) was initiated with a hold rating at Craig-Hallum. $28 price target. Company is leveraged to slower potential growth, Craig-Hallum said. Eaton Vance (EV) was upgraded at BofA/Merrill from underperform to neutral. $32 price target. Net flows are improving, given the attraction of the company's tax-managed products, BofA/Merrill said. F5 Networks (FFIV) was upgraded at Goldman Sachs from neutral to buy. $106 price target. Consensus estimates could begin to move higher after the company's analyst meeting this week, Goldman said. Fusion-IO (FIO) was upgraded at Craig-Hallum from sell to buy. New analyst believes the company is a leader that's in the early stages of growth. $32 price target. Lumber Liquidators (LL) was downgraded at Stifel Nicolaus from hold to sell.
