Genzyme Announces Return To Full Supply Of Thyrogen (thyrotropin Alfa For Injection)

Genzyme, a Sanofi company (EURONEXT: SAN and NYSE: SNY), today announced that due to the continued progress in its manufacturing operations this year, its supply of Thyrogen ^® (thyrotropin alfa for injection) has been fully restored. As a result, beginning in November, Genzyme is able to supply all patient demand globally.

Thyrogen is approved as an adjunctive diagnostic tool for serum thyroglobulin (Tg) testing with or without radioiodine imaging.
