The Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association, a main organizer of annual Astana Economic Forum, will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. November 14 dedicated to the newest, most user-friendly version of the G-Global web portal. A key purpose of the portal is to build a single communication platform of the international community to discuss and find solutions to the world's most pressing issues.
"Since its inception in January of 2012, the G-Global website has offered many ways for experts and the public to take part in the quest for a more equitable global financial system", said MuratKarimsakov, a Chairman of the Executive Body of the Economic Club of Scientists. "Our new, revised portal will make expert and public participation even easier and more satisfying". At the press conference, journalists and experts will be able to ask questions about the features of the new portal and its perspectives. The press conference will also cover plans for the Sixth Astana Economic Forum in May of 2013. Noted economists, representatives of the Kazakh government, diplomats, non-governmental organizations, academic-research organizations and business executives will be attending the press conference. Key speakers besides Karimsakov will include: Murat Orunkhanov, Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Education and Science; Anatoly Spitsyn, Director of the Eurasian Economic Community's Institute for Strategic Studies of Integration Problems; Aydar Abuov, Director of Kazakhstan's International Center for Cultural and Religious Affairs; Hanon Barabaner, President of the Institute of Economics and Management in Estonia; and Mikhail Fedorov , President of Uralsk State Economic University and Deputy Chairman of the Economic Club of Scientists' Coordination Council.
