Orbitz Worldwide And Aegis Hire Over 200 Veterans And Military Family Members In 2012

KILLEEN, Texas, Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As the nation looks to celebrate Veterans Day, Orbitz Worldwide and its customer experience partner Aegis announced today that they have hired over 200 United States armed service veterans and military family members for customer service representative positions at Aegis's Killeen, Texas center.

In February, Orbitz Worldwide committed to the First Lady's Joining Forces Veterans Hiring Initiative, and initially pledged to hire 50 veterans and military family members in 2012 through its call centers and at-home agent programs. While their original goal has already been far surpassed, Orbitz hopes to continue hiring. "The military community provides a strong talent pool of attractive candidates.
