Regions Insurance today announced it has established a new office in Atlanta, Ga., and hired industry veteran, Mike Breedlove, to lead the new office, the first in the state of Georgia.

Serving Atlanta and the state of Georgia, the new 10-person staff has significant experience in the region, with special expertise in transportation, contracting and manufacturing as well as employee benefits.

Breedlove, a 25 year insurance veteran, will lead the office. He is well known in the Atlanta insurance community, having served on numerous insurance company producer councils. He is also a member of the University of Mississippi Risk Management and Insurance advisory board. A native of Texas, Breedlove began his insurance career in Atlanta with the firm of Merritt McKenzie. Prior to joining Regions Insurance, he spent 20 years with W. S. Pharr and Company. He served for five of the 20 years there as president and chief operating officer. Breedlove is a graduate of Concordia Lutheran University in Chicago, Ill.

Also joining Regions Insurance from W. S. Pharr are Frank Glenn and Greg Mosely. Glenn is a 20 year insurance veteran and Certified Insurance Counselor, specializing in domestic and international commercial insurance. Glenn is a graduate of Georgia State University Risk Management School. Mosely will focus on employee benefits, having 29 years of insurance industry experience from both the insurance agency and company perspectives. Mosely is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned degrees in Actuarial Science, Finance and Insurance from University of Cincinnati as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
