Radha Thompson Joins Vericrest As Chief Information Officer

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Vericrest Financial, Inc., a premier financial services company specializing in the servicing of residential mortgage loans, today announced that it has appointed Radha Thompson as the Company's Chief Information Officer, effective November 5, 2012.

Thompson brings 15 years of experience in financial services and information technology to Vericrest. In her new role, she will be responsible for the strategic planning, oversight and global operation of all information systems and technology functions at Vericrest, including implementation of the Company's recently upgraded call center and virtual file room platforms. Vericrest has invested in these technology upgrades in order to streamline internal business processes, allowing the Company to better serve its customers through its suite of best-in-class servicing solutions while executing on its growth strategy.

Thompson has held several senior leadership roles in Technology at JPMorgan Chase, Washington Mutual, Providian and Accenture. At Washington Mutual, Thompson led a multimillion-dollar project to deliver a single loan origination system that resulted in improved business results, decreased errors and reduced expenses.

Thompson holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. In 2007, she was the recipient of the People's Choice Award at the Information Security Executive (ISE) West Awards, in recognition of her work at Washington Mutual.
