Beginning this week, two industry-leading Western Union prepaid cards will be available at more than 7,400 Family Dollar locations in 45 states.
Western Union (NYSE: WU) and Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) are now offering the award-winning Western Union® Gold Card MasterCard and the Western Union® Telemundo MasterCard at Family Dollar stores throughout the U.S. Western Union and Telemundo created the co-branded card to better serve Hispanic consumers, the fastest- growing consumer segment in the U.S.

Cardholders can “top up” or reload their cards four ways:
- At more than 60,000 retail locations, including Family Dollar stores and 46,000 Western Union Agent locations throughout the U.S.
- Via payroll or government benefits direct deposit;
- Directing a Western Union Money Transfer® directly onto the card;
- Transferring money to the card from a bank account.
