DICK'S Sporting Goods Announces Relocated Store To Open This Week At The Dayton Mall In Dayton, Ohio

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  DICK'S Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), the largest U.S. based full-line sporting goods retailer, will be opening its relocated store this week at the Dayton Mall, 2700 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Dayton. The store will open its doors on Wednesday, November 7 and will include a special celebration on Sunday, November 11, featuring a ribbon-cutting at 10:00 a.m. Customers are invited to participate in the festivities.

The store was originally located at 234 N. Springboro Pike.  Enhancements to the new location, which will have 50,000 square feet of space, will include additional specialized services and hands-on customer experiences throughout the Bike, Lodge and Golf departments, including a golf simulator, a club fitting center, putting green, an archery lane with an on-site bow technician, and bike safety inspections, custom fittings, tune-ups and assembly.  The relocated store is expected to generate local employment opportunities.

DICK'S Sporting Goods has a variety of activities to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening on Sunday, November 11.  There will be a Mystery Gift Card Giveaway where the first 100 adults in line will receive unmarked DICK'S Sporting Goods gift cards in varying denominations from $5 to $500, with one person winning the $500 card. (Limit one per person and must be 18 years or older).  Customers will be able to enter for the chance to win a Nishiki Kinzua29 Limited Edition bicycle.
