Entergy Reschedules Third Quarter Earnings Call In Consideration Of Those Preparing For Hurricane Sandy

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In light of the major storm approaching the northeastern U.S., Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) today announced it has rescheduled its third quarter 2012 earnings teleconference to Nov. 5, 2012, from Oct. 30.

Entergy's utility operating companies have sent 318 tool workers plus support personnel highly experienced in storm restoration to the region in anticipation of a massive restoration effort following Hurricane Sandy's landfall. In addition, personnel at Entergy's nuclear plants in the Northeast continue to track the storm's path and are making necessary preparations for the potential of high winds and rainfall.
