The award, presented at the recent NACS Show in Las Vegas, honors outstanding new product innovations geared towards the convenience store industry. The Nathan's Famous Crinkle Fries – a baked snack chip inspired by Nathan's Famous Crinkle-Cut French Fry Potatoes – won the top honors in the Salty Snacks category of this year's CSN Awards.

Chosen by a consumer panel administered by a New York-based research firm, entries into this year's "Best New Products Awards" were rated on the basis of taste, value, convenience, healthfulness, quality ingredients, preparation requirements, appearance and packaging.

This year's winners will appear in Convenience Store News' Show Dailies at the NACS Show in addition to being featured prominently in December's print issue of the magazine.
