Frontier Communications Offers Customers 100% Green Energy Services

Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR), the largest provider of communications services focused on rural America, today announced the launch of FTR Energy Services, a cost-effective, clean energy service offering electricity and natural gas. Frontier Communications is among the first companies to leverage the convergence of broadband and energy and has selected Crius Energy, a leading renewable energy provider with retail energy companies in 10 states and the District of Columbia.

FTR Energy Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crius Energy and will launch in select markets in November 2012. Crius Energy is a pioneer in telecom and energy relationships and was first to recognize the opportunities available between broadband and energy companies.
