NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Marvell Technology Group (Nasdaq:MRVL) hit a new 52-week low Friday as it is currently trading at $7.79, below its previous 52-week low of $8.67 with 7.9 million shares traded as of 9:35 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 11.2 million shares over the past 30 days.

Marvell Technology Group has a market cap of $5.02 billion and is part of the technology sector and electronics industry. Shares are down 36.2% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. designs, develops, and markets analog, mixed-signal, digital signal processing, and embedded and standalone ARM-based microprocessor integrated circuits.
