JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Web.com, a leading provider of internet services and online marketing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), will host a free, interactive Small Business Forum designed to help Dallas-area small businesses learn how to be successful on the internet. The forum takes place on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 8-10:30 a.m. CT at the TPC Craig Ranch Clubhouse in McKinney, TX
"We are excited to share our knowledge about what really works online so that small businesses in the Dallas area can maximize their internet presence," said keynote presenter Jason Teichman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Web.com. "We think our pointers can make a real difference in small business success, and we look forward to expanding our outreach to local markets across the country."
Teichman will focus on the primary topics that make up a successful internet presence: the elements of a great website, how to determine if your website is 'working' for you, increasing traffic to your website and your business, and de-mystifying how to efficiently market on Google, Facebook and Twitter.
As part of its recently announced agreement with the PGA TOUR, Web.com developed the Web.com Small Business Forum as a way to bring additional benefit to communities where events are held. The Web.com Small Business Forum takes place in conjunction with The Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch, which will be played October 25-28.
Teichman continued, "We are excited to be giving back to the communities where the Web.com Tour and PGA TOUR events are played."
Web.com is a leader in helping small businesses thrive on the internet," said Kevin Kelley, tournament chairman of the
Web.com Tour Championship. "Their involvement with the
Web.com Tour and this season-ending Championship offers a great opportunity for small businesses in this market to benefit from this expertise. We look forward to hosting
Web.com and their guests at the
Web.com Tour Championship."
The Dallas Small Business Forum will be held at the TPC Craig Ranch Clubhouse, 8000 Collin McKinney Parkway, McKinney, Texas on Thursday, October 25 starting with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The program will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude by 10:30 am.
