With the addition of Mid Dakota Clinic, athenahealth’s services have now been selected by health care providers across all 48 states in the continental U.S.—bringing athenahealth closer to its vision to create “the nation’s information backbone to make health care work as it should.”
Mid Dakota Clinic, comprised of more than 60 health care providers, offers a wide array of health care services to an ever-growing population of rural patients in central and western North Dakota. The implementation of athenahealth’s Best in KLAS EHR service, athenaClinicals ®; its streamlined medical billing and practice management service, athenaCollector ®; and its patient communications service, athenaCommunicator ®, will enable Mid Dakota Clinic to streamline the administrative headaches that result from regulation, such as the impending transition to ICD-10 and achieving Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements, and also provide their physicians with tools to more efficiently communicate with their patients before, during, and after an exam.
