Avnet Electronics Marketing And ITT Celebrate Diamond Anniversary

This year, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 60 ^th year as head of the Commonwealth, but she’s not the only institution celebrating a diamond anniversary. In 1952, Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), one of the world’s largest distributors of electronics components and embedded systems, inked a distribution agreement with ITT Corporation’s (NYSE: ITT) Interconnect Solutions business, which then operated under the name of its flagship Cannon brand.
