ROCK HILL, S.C., Oct. 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today that its award winning Cube ^® 3D printer for the consumer and its Cubify ^® Apps and software will be at the CineKid multimedia festival October 17 – 26, 2012 at culture park De Westergasfabriek, in Amsterdam, Holland.

3D Systems plans to anchor the kids experience with its $1,299 USD Cube, the world's first easy to use, 'plug in and print' 3D printer designed exclusively for the consumer. Together with the new Cubify.com capture app, children will be able to pose in front of a camera and have their silhouette meshed and 3D printed, creating a memorable, personalized souvenir. The company plans to provide Cubify Invent classes, underscoring the ease of creation with its affordable and intuitive 3D design package available for just $49 USD.
