Corporate Office Properties Trust Inc. : Approximately 5,147,200 shares changed hands, a 814.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.39 or 1.5 percent to $25.75.

GMX Resources Inc. : Approximately 2,862,000 shares changed hands, a 556.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.09 or 13.6 percent to $.58.

Haverty Furniture Cos. class A : Approximately 8,100 shares changed hands, a 1,986.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.99 or 6.9 percent to $15.25.
