Panel of Service Leaders from NCR, Vertafore and Compuware Changepoint Share Real-world Experiences in Driving Transformation Within Their Organizations
DETROIT, Oct. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company, today announced it will host a panel discussion at this year's Technology Services World. The panel will examine services transformation and the business drivers and catalysts behind it. Panel moderator, Compuware Changepoint Senior Vice President and General Manager Lori Ellsworth, will be joined by Ruth Fornell, Vice President Global Professional Services, NCR; Eric Crump, Vice President, Professional Services & Education, Vertafore; and Linda Ungaro, Global Services Director, Compuware Changepoint.
Service Transformation is also the theme of this year's Technology Services World, which takes place October 15-17, 2012, in Las Vegas. Shifting customer requirements, social media, new business and technology consumption models, and the convergence of consumer and business computing are putting an unprecedented amount of pressure on service leaders to adapt and change. Compuware Changepoint is a platinum sponsor of the event.
Changepoint's panel takes place on October 16 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. It will take a deep-dive look at services transformation at NCR, Vertafore and Compuware Changepoint to examine the catalysts driving change in each organization, and the levers used by service leaders Fornell, Crump and Ungaro to affect change. Levers to be explored include partnerships, technology, sales strategy, service portfolio expansion, compensation and organizational design.
"The topic of services transformation is on-point for technology firms as the industry continues to change at an incredible rate. Service organizations are adapting to new revenue models and using technology to engage with customers in new ways, and must think outside the box in building the services organization of the future," said Lori Ellsworth, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Compuware Changepoint business unit. "At the same time, the services function has never played a more critical role in advancing a technology company's business agenda, as companies large and small engage in their own services-led business transformation. Our panelists speak from experience in terms of leading their own services transformation, and I'm very much looking forward to having them share their insights and lessons learned with TSW attendees."
