The Workforce for a Cure campaign encourages G&K Services’ customers to trade-in their everyday work wear for pink ribbon apparel during the month of October. The program began three years ago when GKdirect™ worked with oil and gas companies across the country for Fueling Awareness, a nationwide campaign in support of breast cancer awareness.
"G&K is honored to support this worthy cause,” said Jeffrey L. Wright, G&K’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “We extend a sincere thank you to all of our customers and their employees who participate in the Workforce for a Cure campaign."
GKdirect™ offers thirteen Awareness Apparel items and donates a portion of the purchase price to the American Cancer Society®, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® campaign. All Awareness Apparel comes embroidered with the breast cancer awareness ribbon. These items can be ordered through your local G&K Services representative or by visiting www.gkdirect.com.About G&K Services, Inc.
