DeviceAnywhere® platform to automate the testing of its mobile properties. Keynote has implemented two separate mobile testing environments specifically dedicated for use by Humana: one to test mobile websites, hybrid apps and web apps and the other to specifically test HTML5 web apps.
With the expected growth in HTML5 web apps, Humana is one of the first leading enterprise companies to create an automated testing environment, ensuring Humana’s HTML5-based web apps consistently meet performance expectations. Using the DeviceAnywhere platform, Humana now has the complete ability to “write once, run anywhere” test scripting for use across leading smart devices and platforms, including all popular Android and iOS devices.
DeviceAnywhere is a powerful cloud-based, enterprise mobile testing platform that is highly scalable and purpose-built for manual and automated testing of mobile apps and websites.
Keynote also set up a dedicated environment for manual and automated testing of Humana’s mobile websites, apps and hybrid apps. The test environment contains 50 live devices including iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices. Using the system, Humana has so far set up over 150 test cases to continuously test the usability and functionality of its various mobile properties across major platforms.
DeviceAnywhere platform enterprises have the ability to create test scripts which capture real-time user interactions on live smartphones and tablets. The scripts are saved and can be set to run on demand or at any scheduled time. DeviceAnywhere notifies testers of any issues, creating an early-warning system to enterprises like Humana, which need to be notified immediately of any problems before they affect the large numbers of consumers who rely upon its mobile channels.
