ITW Medical Products Announces Acquisition Of Coeur Holding Company
HEBRON, Ill., Oct. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ITW Medical Products, a division of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), today announced it has completed the purchase of Coeur Holding Company, a leading provider of disposable medical products used in diagnostic imaging and other medical procedures. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

ITW Medical Products is now a division comprised of two strong medical product brands, Coeur and Filtertek, situated to proactively meet the needs of customers in the marketplace. The Filtertek product line is comprised of custom plastic insert molded filtration and flow control components for global OEM medical device customers. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable medical products used in diagnostic imaging and other medical procedures. ITW Medical Products will continue selling both Coeur products and the Filtertek line under their respective brands.
