TD Ameritrade Hosts Investor Education Day

TD Ameritrade (NYSE: AMTD) will host free educational webcasts starting at noon EDT and concluding at 10:45 p.m. EDT today. The event is open to TD Ameritrade clients and anyone looking to learn more about investing.

“We’re dedicated to providing top notch education for our clients and encourage everyone from beginners to the more experienced to take advantage of this program we’ve created to coach and empower investors,” said Tom Bradley, president, retail distribution, TD Ameritrade. “As a leading provider of investor education, our goal is to help investors take control of their financial futures and make more informed investment decisions.”

TD Ameritrade’s Investor Education Day will feature seven webinars covering a range of investing topics from “Managing Risk with Proper Position Sizing” to “Using Options to Help Diversify and Generate Income.” Each webinar will last about an hour and investors can opt to attend all of them or pick and choose which to attend.

Two of the webcasts will be broadcast live from TD Ameritrade branch offices. The Northbrook, Illinois branch will host the “Focus on the Future: Morningstar on Retirement Planning” webcast led by Christine Benz, director of personal finance for Morningstar. The Beverly Hills, California branch will host the “Politics, Presidents and Global Market Posturing with S&P Capital IQ” webcast led by Sam Stovall, chief equity strategist for S&P Capital IQ.
