Healthcare Realty Trust Completes Offering Of 9,200,000 Shares Of Common Stock

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthcare Realty Trust Incorporated (NYSE: HR) announced the completion of its underwritten public offering of 9,200,000 newly issued shares of common stock at a public offering price of $22.85 per share for total gross proceeds of approximately $210.2 million.  The total shares sold includes 1,200,000 shares sold pursuant to the underwriters' exercise in full of their option to purchase additional shares.  Including the shares issued in this offering, the Company has 87,206,555 shares of common stock outstanding. The Company intends to use the net proceeds, approximately $201.1 million, from this offering for the funding of two build-to-suit healthcare facilities, the acquisition of healthcare facilities and other general corporate purposes, including the repayment of debt.
