Time Warner Cable To Offer 46.4 Million Shares Of Clearwire Class A Common Stock

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ: CLWR) ("Clearwire"), a leading provider of 4G mobile broadband services in the U.S., today announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of  46.4 million shares of its Class A common stock by certain affiliates of Time Warner Cable Inc., which represents approximately 7.8% of the total outstanding Class A common stock and approximately 3.2% of the total outstanding Class A common stock and Class B common stock. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering. Clearwire will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares being sold by the selling stockholders.
