Semtech Named To Fortune's List Of 100 Fastest Growing Companies
Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, today announced that Fortune Magazine has identified it as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the magazine’s September 24, 2012 issue. Semtech was listed among 100 publicly traded companies as a high achiever with revenue growth of 25%, profit growth of 78% and total returns of 15%.
Fortune screened companies based on size, liquidity, financial metrics and growth criteria and then ranked them by revenue growth rate, EPS growth rate and three-year annualized return for the period ended June 29, 2012. Revenue and EPS growth rates were computed using a trailing four quarter log linear least square regression fit.
