Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with the City of Gillette, Wyo., for its Munis
enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. After a thorough request for proposal (RFP) process, Gillette selected Tyler’s Munis
solution to replace its outdated system to better manage data and service delivery to the city’s clients. The agreement includes related software licenses, professional services, training and support.
The City of Gillette selected
because it improves access to information, aids productivity by eliminating duplicate entries, enhances strategic planning and budgeting, and integrates information from multiple departments. Gillette has selected multiple Munis applications, including financial management, human resource management, self service, contract management and utility billing; the contract also includes Tyler Incident Management, Tyler Content Manager and Tyler Cashiering.
Situated in the Powder River Basin, the residents of the City of Gillette help provide over 10 percent of America’s electricity with coal that is mined in the Basin.
