The stock ranged in price between $22.60-$23.50 after having opened the day at $23.13 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $23.36. Other companies within the Industrial industry that declined today were: THT Heat Transfer Technology (THTI), down 14%, IntriCon Corporation (IIN), down 7.5%, Asia Pacific Wire & Cable Corp (APWC), down 5.1%, and Skullcandy (SKUL), down 4.9%.

Terex Corporation manufactures capital goods machinery products worldwide. Terex has a market cap of $2.43 billion and is part of the industrial goods sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 17.8, above the average industrial industry P/E ratio of 17.2 and equal to the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 72.9% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday. Currently there are eight analysts that rate Terex a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and eight rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Terex as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, solid stock price performance and impressive record of earnings per share growth. However, as a counter to these strengths, we find that the company's profit margins have been poor overall.
