NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- VF Corporation (NYSE:VFC) hit a new 52-week high Monday as it is currently trading at $156.26, above its previous 52-week high of $156.15 with 336,891 shares traded as of 1:20 p.m. ET. Average volume has been 794,900 shares over the past 30 days.

VF has a market cap of $16.79 billion and is part of the consumer goods sector and consumer non-durables industry. Shares are up 20.3% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.

V.F. Corporation designs and manufactures, or sources from independent contractors various apparel and footwear products primarily in the United States and Europe. The company has a P/E ratio of 18.4, equal to the average consumer non-durables industry P/E ratio and above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
